How are your prices calculated?
Our pricing structure depends on the predicted duration and complexity of the work required. We will also factor in the cost of materials and sundry items necessary to ensure you are completely happy with the end result.
How quickly will you be able to do my job?
This depends on the type and size of work required and the availability of our team. Approximate dates will be discussed during the quotation stage. You will be regularly updated once the quote is accepted.
When is payment required and what is the preferred method of payment?
Only when you are completely satisfied with the work will payment be required. Payment by cheque or bank transfer to our business account is acceptable.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes we are fully covered up to £10 million with AXA Insurance Ltd.
How many decorators do you employ?
There are currently three decorators in our team. Daniel Brookes is the business owner and senior decorator. Harry Smith is a time-served decorator. Stephanie Leppard has recently completed her apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified and competent decorator. Our newest team member is Jordan Brookes who has just begun an apprenticeship with our company.
Can you supply references and testimonials of work you have already completed?

Do I need to be present whilst you are working in my property?
It is entirely up to you whether you are present. We are a trustworthy team and regularly work in unattended properties, both residential and commercial. We have been keyholders at unattended multi-million pound residential properties and high profile local companies. Your property and privacy will be respected at all times.
What if further work is required beyond the original quote?
Communication is key throughout the project. Any additional work will be identified and discussed with the customer thus eliminating any unexpected surprises. Your complete satisfaction is assured at all times.
Do you use hazardous substances?
We generally only use the types of materials found in domestic DIY stores. However, all our materials have been assessed and documented in accordance with the ‘Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, 2002’ – (COSHH).
Do you comply with Health and Safety legislation?
We employ the services of an independent Health and Safety professional whose responsibility is to produce method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments for all our activities. This ensures that we comply with all relevant legislation. For our commercial clients we will always submit job-specific H&S documentation prior to commencement of work.
